Green disks, blue disks, black disks and red disks are the classifications made by for Western Digital according to the characteristics of its hard drives.
1. The performance is different
Green disk: low noise, as a download disk, the advantages are lower calorific value, quieter and more environmentally friendly. Energy-saving disk, using IntelliPower technology, the speed will be automatically adjusted between 5400-7200. The advantages are quietness and low price, while the disadvantages are poor performance, high latency, and short lifespan.
