Sysmptoms of a Malfunctioning ABS Sensor:
It is import to keep in mind that if your ABS disabled, as will be the case with a defective wheel speed sensor, that your wheels may slide or slip when you apply the brakes to stop the car, especially on slippery surface. You will be able to stop the car but it will be more difficult to do, especally at slower speeds.
How to Replace an ABS sensor:
Step 1: Raise the vehicle and remove the harness connector for the wheel speed sensor. Make a note of the routing for the cable beginning from the connector end.
Step 2: Disconnect the mounting bolts for the wheel speed sensor with a socket wrench and remove the sensor. If it's stuck in place, you may need to use a hammer and small punch to lossen it by gently tapping the side of the mounting flange.Don't hit the sensor directly.
Step 3: Install the new wheel speed sensor and fasten the mounting bolts loosely.Position the wiring harness into its original position as noted earlier and avoid twisting or crimping it.
Step 4: Complete the installation by reversing the remaining removal steps.

Please allow 1-5mm deviation due to manual measurement.
